About Abby

Abby is a licensed physician with a Master's degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
After becoming board-certified in pediatrics, she completed a post-graduate fellowship in Allergy-Immunology. She then worked as an allergist in a large allergy practice for many years.
Soon after becoming an allergist, she developed Crohn's disease (an autoimmune-like illness). She came to know the medical system and learned about the patient-doctor relationship from a patient's perspective.
Though her training is rooted in Western medicine, she began to explore some of the complementary treatments available to help herself heal.
She created her mind-body medicine practice so she could help others who needed a guide in the midst of an ongoing medical challenge. She knows first-hand what is possible.
